About Us

Polyjumps® and WES Products are trading names of Whitakers Equestrian Services Limited.

We have been manufacturing Polyjumps since 1991. Designed and manufactured in the UK we ship all over the country and internationally too. For more information about us and the development of our products, click here. Polyjumps can be supplied through various distributors/stockists as well as direct from the manufacturer.

The Polyjumps range is continuously developing, we aim to meet everyone's showjump requirements, so if you have a good idea for a new jump we would be pleased to hear from you.

Making A Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our online catalogue and when you see an item that you wish to purchase, click "Add to Basket" to put it in your shopping basket. After you have finished shopping, click on "Checkout" and you will be asked for the details that we need to be able to complete your order (see Security of Your Information for more information about how we safeguard your privacy).

All credit card transactions are processed via a secure server to safeguard your details (see Credit Card Security for more information).

If you prefer to place your order by post or fax, complete the order form and print it. Send it, with your cheque or credit card details to one of the addresses below. Make sure you write your credit card details including name, full address of the card holder and security number. The security number is the three number at the end of the number on the back of your card; for American Express cards use the four digit number on the front of the card. You may phone, post, fax or email your payment details to us at one of the above addresses.

We currently accept Visa, Mastercard, Delta, Switch and Amex. All transactions are in charged pounds sterling (£). We do not recommend sending payment details via regular email.

We will not charge your credit card for any item until it is ready for shipment.

By placing an order with us you will be deemed to have understood and agreed to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree or have any questions about any aspect of these contact us before placing an order.

These terms and conditions and your use of our web site are governed by English law and you agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English court. This does not affect your statutory rights.

This web site and our terms and conditions have been designed for use within the United Kingdom and under UK law. Whilst we are happy to consider orders and queries from outside the United Kingdom, we give no express or implied warranty that the use of this website or the placing of any order through this website from outside the UK complies with any applicable non-UK laws or regulations. Accordingly, any products or promotions not permitted under your local law are not offered to you.

Confirmation Of Your Order

A contract will exists between us once we have emailed you at the email address given us that your order is accepted. The contract is considered to have been formed and the confirmation deemed to have been given to you as soon as you are able to access the message, whether or not you actually receive that message. We are entitled to refuse any order you place without giving a reason.

Your Right To Cancel

You may normally cancel your order (once accepted by us) for any reason within 7 days of delivery of the products. To do so you must give us written notice (including email) within that 7 day period. If you do cancel the contract within this time any payments made by you will be refunded in full within 30 days. Cancelled items must be returned to us in the manner set out in our Returns Policy and must be received by us complete, in perfect condition, unused, and in their original packaging.

Shipping And Handling

We'll ship your order right away if we have stock.

Purchases for delivery in the UK or mainland Europe will normally be delivered to you within 28 days of placing your order. For other destinations, times may vary. When your order is despatched we will advise by telephone or email.

Deliveries will usually be made by TNT, the Royal Mail or a courier service.

UK Delivery

All goods are carefully packed and shipped as soon as they are available to fulfill your order.  Post and Packing charges depend on the total weight of the items ordered, typically this adds 10% to the value of your order: Up to 20kg costs £11.75 inc. VAT and each additional kg is 42 pence inc. VAT.

For deliveries to the Isle of Wight as surcharge of £5.00 + vat is charged - this is not shown in the shopping basket or in automatic email order confirmations.

Certain heavy items (e.g. Jumbo Tack Safes and Tournament Cabinets) may incur additional shipping charges which may vary from any calculated shipping charges shown online and these will be advised prior to despatch.

Delivery is usually made the day following despatch.

Overseas Delivery

Overseas, BFPO and non-mainland UK (Channel Islands, Guernsey, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Northern areas of Scotland and Orkney Isles, Outer Hebrides and the Shetland Isles) shipping is charged at cost and may vary from any calculated shipping charges shown online and in automated emails confirming your order. We will confirm costs when we send you notification of acceptance of your order. Delivery times may vary, please allow 7-14 days.

VAT applies to shipments to UK and other European Union destinations.

For all our deliveries a signature may be required.

Delivery Schedule

Please note that all products and services, including those "on offer", are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time, including after you have placed your order.

If your item is not in stock, we will back order it for you. In case of long delays or unavailability, you will always be notified and given the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

We always endeavour to ensure the accuracy of the information provided but, inevitably, there is the possibility of us being 'Out of Stock'. We continue to list those products that we can re-order. For some products, we buy many months in advance and cannot re-order in which case we endeavour to remove from sale as soon as we are out of stock.

Occasionally manufacturers make changes to products so they may differ slightly from the photographs and descriptions shown on this web site.

While colour reproduction of the products is a close representation, we cannot accept responsibility for any variation in colour caused by the browser software or computer system you use.

Disclaimer

To the fullest extent permitted by the law and except in respect of death or personal injury caused by negligence on the part of Whitakers Equestrian Services Ltd., its directors or employees, Whitakers Equestrian Services Ltd. shall not be liable to you by reason of any representation (unless fraudulent), or any implied warranty, condition or other term, or any duty at common law, or under the express terms of the contract, for any indirect, special or consequential loss or damage (whether for loss of profit or otherwise), costs, expenses or other claims for compensation whatsoever(whether caused by negligence on the part of Whitakers Equestrian Services Ltd., its directors, employees or agents or otherwise) which arise out of or in connection with the use of this website.

We will not be liable to you or be deemed to be in breach of the contract by reason of any delay in performing, or any failure to perform, any of our obligations in relations to the products ordered by you, if the delay or failure was due to any cause beyond our reasonable control. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Tax Charges

All prices quoted on this website are accurate at the time of press and are quoted in pounds sterling.

UK Tax (VAT) is included in item prices where appropriate and this is noted for your information next to the item details. Where VAT applies it will be added to your order at 17.5% for orders delivered within the European Union.

For orders placed for delivery outside the United Kingdom, any customs or import duties levied once the package reaches your destination country are your responsibility to settle. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they will be.

All goods remain the property of Whitakers Equestrian Services Ltd. until paid for in full. Our on-line receipt & e-mail Order acknowledgement do not signify acceptance of your order. We will check availability, pricing and your payment prior to acceptance and dispatch. Once we know we are ready to ship your order, your credit card (if used) will be charged and you will receive an Order Confirmation email telling you when to expect your items.

We want you to be satisfied with your purchases. All of your purchases come with a 30 day, no quibble guarantee.

If, for any reason at all, you are not totally satisfied with your purchase return it to the address below within 30 days of the date of dispatch, with your receipt, in its original packaging for a full refund of the purchase price you paid. Privacy Policy

The Information We Need and How We Use It

When you order from us, we will require your name, address, e-mail address, credit/debit card number, card expiry date and security number (the last 3 numbers on the back of your card). For some cards we also require Issue Number and 'Valid From' date. Without this information we will not be able to process your order, notify you of acceptance of your order or deliver your order.

A contact telephone number may also be required so that we may contact your urgently if there is a problem with your order. We may, unless you tell us not to, pass this information to our couriers or other agents in case they need to contact you to arrange the processing or delivery of your order.

As part of our efforts to ensure that you are aware of the latest developments and offers, we may also use this information to advise you of new products, special offers or changes to our site. If you would rather not receive this information, please send an email to enquiries@polyjumps.com. Please ensure that you notify us of your preference for each e-mail address that you may have given to us.

Security Of Your Information

Our site uses secure server software to protect your information whenever you place an order or access your account information. To minimise the risk of information being intercepted before it is received by us, this software encrypts all information you input before it is sent to us.

We also follow security procedures as required under UK Data Protection Legislation (the Data Protection Act 1998) to protect the information that we store about you from unauthorised access. We have applied for registration with the Data Protection Authority and will place our registration number in this section as soon as we receive it.

We may wish to pass your details to trusted third-parties that we believe may be of interest to you. If you would prefer not to enjoy this service then please contact us to inform us of your preference.

Credit Card Security

We want you to feel comfortable making purchases on Polyjumps website. We do everything we can to ensure that credit card information entered on our site will not be accessed by any unauthorised person or company. Our secure sockets layer (SSL) encryption uses 128-bit encryption, which is the highest level available.

In addition to this, once your order has been transferred to our order processing system all credit card details are taken from the website as an added precaution. Our sales order processing system and internal network is protected by the latest proxy technology.

Details are not held in clear text on any website. We will take all reasonable care, within our power, to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but in the absence of negligence on our part we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from Polyjumps online shop.

Returns Policy

If, for any reason at all, you are not totally satisfied with your purchase return it to the address below within 30 days of the date of dispatch, with your receipt, in its original packaging for a full refund of the purchase price you paid.

For all returns, except where the item is faulty, you will be required to arrange and pay for the return of the products to us.

To return any products to us, please:

1. Complete the Returns Form which is on the reverse side of your invoice.
2. Make sure to tell us whether you want an Exchange or Refund.
3. We recommend that you obtain proof of posting since we cannot be responsible for packages lost in transit.
